A message from JC Bermudez

Dear Friend and Neighbor,

Four years ago we began the campaign to “Get Doral Back On Track.” As the founding Mayor of our great city many of you had asked that we consider the mission of coming back to help us return to a city where efficient and effective government, controlled and smart growth and ethical and transparent government – the reasons many of worked to found our city – would return to Doral. The last four years we have brought back to our city the priorities of efficient, effective and transparent government and growth that is consistent with the city’s original master plan. We have also brought respect and stability back to our city. Now, more than ever, we need to work together as the Doral family to keep our community, our city and our families safe as we deal with these challenging times. Today, I signed the paperwork to file for re-election as Mayor of Doral for the next four years. My family and I thank you for the faith, support and confidence so many of you have given us over the years and humbly ask for your support in this upcoming re-election. Now that we have gotten Doral “Back on Track” it is time to continue to progress in the right direction as we make the City of Doral the premier place to work, live, play and learn. As your neighbor, I thank all of you for your cooperation and understanding as we work together to keep our city safe as we return to the new normal in our great city.

Queridos amigos y vecinos

Hace cuatro años comenzamos la campaña para “Rescatar a nuestro Doral”. Como alcalde fundador de nuestra gran ciudad, muchos de ustedes me pidieron que considerará la misión de regresar para restablecer en nuestra ciudad un gobierno eficiente y efectivo, un crecimiento controlado e inteligente y un gobierno ético y transparente – que son las razones por las que muchos trabajaron para fundar nuestra ciudad. Los últimos cuatro años juntos hemos traído de vuelta a nuestra ciudad las prioridades de un gobierno y un crecimiento eficiente, efectivo y transparente que sea consistente con el plan maestro original de la ciudad. También hemos devuelto el respeto y estabilidad a nuestra ciudad. Ahora, más que nunca, necesitamos continuar trabajando juntos como una familia para mantener nuestra comunidad, nuestra ciudad y nuestras familias seguras mientras lidiamos con estos tiempos difíciles. Hoy, firmé la documentación para solicitar la reelección como alcalde de Doral durante los próximos cuatro años. Mi familia y yo les agradecemos la fe, el apoyo y la confianza que muchos de ustedes nos han brindado a lo largo de los años y solicitamos humildemente su apoyo en esta próxima reelección. Ahora que hemos conseguido que Doral vuelva a la normalidad, es hora de continuar progresando en la dirección correcta mientras hacemos de la Ciudad de Doral el lugar principal para trabajar, vivir, jugar y aprender. Como su vecino, les agradezco a todos por su cooperación y comprensión mientras trabajamos juntos para mantener nuestra ciudad segura mientras regresamos a la nueva normalidad en nuestra gran ciudad.
